Pressure Side Power Steering Line

Age is the enemy, and your stock like is no spring chicken!!  I'm offering replacement lines with 2 different hose types, both from Aeroquip.

The first is a blue High Pressure Power Steering hose.  This 6-layer hose uses a AQP^® inner tube, offers 300º temperature rating and will handle 2,250 psi. This hose also features an abrasion resistant exterior.

The second option is a Stainless Steel Teflon lined racing hose. This line is also designed for high pressure and high temperature work.  It carries an operating rating of 2,500 psi and 450 degrees F.

Both hose types are fitted with reusable Aeroquip steel fittings that are matched to the hose type selected.

Pressure Switch Option:

The factory pressure side line is equipped with a pressure sensor. This sensor is designed to sense load on the system and idle up the engine if needed.  This aids in heavy load steering while at idle (parking lot maneuvers).  This switch is not a "necessary" part of the system however, and therefore is an option.  Part numbers  listed here will reference a "with" or "without" the fitting that allows this sensor to connect to your new line.

Anyone who has autocrossed or road raced their B-body has probably become aware how easy it is to over heat the stock power steering system.  The factory parts are not designed to operate at continuously high RPMs.

The solution?.... A power steering cooler and quality fluid.  This kit is designed to both cool the PS fluid and add capacity to the system.  The cooler is an 16 inch finned aluminum unit that mounts easily at the base of your radiator core support.

This kit includes everything you need including the cooler, fluid, hose, fittings, bolts and stainless steel hose clamps (not shown).
